An advertising Pro turned entrepreneur at 55.

most his time calculating his lifetime savings and retirement benefits, that's exactly when I started giving shapes to my dream...” says Supriyo with a
chuckle and dreams sparkling in his eyes.
Supriyo’s
online business ‘Lovebin’ operates in ‘donation’ space. Launched in 2024
‘Lovebin’ is already the most popular portal dealing with donors and
beneficiaries.
“My entire idea was very simple. Create a digital platform where you will get all
the donation options. Thinking of making a donation to the rural school where
you had spent your initial years, sitting at Virginia... you can do it in a click of a
button” – Says Supriyo.
Lovebin has
already clocked a transaction of 20 cr. and estimating a transaction of Rs. 40
cr through this platform by the end of 2025.
With 4000
organisations onboard as beneficiaries catering to 70 donation caregories
‘Lovebin’ is surely the biggest online platform in donation space.
Supriyo is
also actively involved in promoting his own eco-friendly pencil brand called
‘Penseed’. Penseed is an interesting project which he has taken up recently.
It’s a project where pencils are manufactured from waste paper. “ We recycle the
waste papers and turn them into colourful pencils which the kids love to use.
But don’t think its only a pencil that we are manufacturing and selling. In fact we embed a seed in each pencil which helps to grow tree once these
pencils are discarded. Aptly we branded it as ‘Penseed’. We want to create a sustainable
business out of it and want to take it forward in a big way to do our bit for the
nature. We have already tied up with 600 schools and 25 Corporates pan India to
meet their yearly requirements” – Says Supriyo.
Supriyo is also working on another interesting project and plans to launch his first restaurant by the end of this year. A restaurant which will be one of its kind. A restaurant which will operate entirely on ‘Gift Economy’ model. “It will be a very new thing for this part of the world" he says. A unique dine-in restaurant where there will be a menu but there will be no price mentioned against it. People will dine and pay out of their own will. Even then we will be able to make profits as we all know that the restaurant business makes 200 percent of profit if not more. We plan to create a chain of restaurant and I am actively looking for some serious investors at this point of time. In this digital age of digital advertising we have to put a lot of effort on generating leads and converting them into first time visitors and thereafter hook them with the quality of food and ambience and convert them into regular patrons” –Says Supriyo Guha
